Entomophagy, or the practice of eating insects for food, is the topic for our next Science Cafe, on Tuesday September 16th. At this cafe, (if you feel adventurous!) you will have the opportunity to nibble on a bug yourself..... :-)

Tropical Storms

This is the season when hurricanes become front page news. Be sure and mark your calendars for our next Science Cafe on Tuesday, August 19th at Tir Na Nog. Our speakers will be Dr. Ryan Boyles and Dr. Anantha Aiyyer from NCSU, who will give us information and answer questions about tropical storms and the science of predicting their behaviors.
